Operations and Maintenance 

The WCG team has worked with clients across the globe to identify ways to provide sustainable operating and maintenance cost improvements while at the same time improving overall commercial performance. We have worked with clients at widely differing levels of maturity and various portfolios of plants including conventional and renewable generation plants.

 

We understand that technology and tools can play a key role in achieving performance gains across plant equipment and plants. But to
sustain and improve upon this, clients need to have a clear performance improvement culture and mindset and commitment and support
from leadership.

 

Our team has worked with clients to establish remote monitoring and operations centers, heat rate improvement programs, maintenance
process improvement, and reliability improvement programs.

  • We start by understanding your business strategy, operational goals, and readiness for change


  • Understand your key business metrics and what data is feeding these metrics


  • Inventory of the clients existing tools and capabilities around performance monitoring and improvement


  • Conduct site visits to identify capabilities and gaps in processes, tools, or skills and training.


  • Understand cultural and change management considerations that could impact the selection and implementation of specific tools and/or processes.


  •  Develop a business case and implementation plan supporting your Performance improvement program.


  • Provide Program Management and Advisory support throughout your Performance Improvement journey
